Tell them it is a human rights violation. In Canada our health care professionals have the right to refuse a flu shot. The only catch is that some hospitals make them sign a waiver if they refused. On the other hand I had the flu in June, it lasted a 27 days and it was a strain to breath (I had no secondary health condition). Personally, I would do the flu over again than take a vaccine that almost covers every medical condition in the Merk Manual.
